Combining Taguchi method and DEAR method for multi-objective optimization of grinding process

چکیده
In this paper, a study on multi-objective optimization of the cylindrical grinding process is presented. The experimental material used in X12M steel. two output parameters considered are surface roughness and removal rate (MRR). cutting mode including speed, feed rate, depth have been selected as input process. Experimental matrix by Taguchi method has to design with 27 experiments. Analysis results Pareto chart determined effect parameters. Data Envelopment Analysis-based Ranking (DEAR) applied determine values simultaneously ensure criteria minimum maximum MRR. Finally, development direction for further studies also recommended study.
